Mobilize 35,000 Southern Arizonans to sign the pledge and participate in the shutdown if the midterms are undermined.
The Tucson metro area is home to 1.09 million people.
Research shows that significant social change occurs when 3.5% of a community engages in continous, nonviolent disruption .

Our red lines
- Seizure of ballot boxes before they are counted
- Deployment of ICE and/ or military to the polls to prevent people from voting
- Federal agents, like militia members, at the polls preventing people from voting
- Complete cessation of vote counting for any reason
- Non-transparent counting or certification processes
- Refusal to seat legally elected leaders
- The arbitrary tossing out of valid votes
- Severe state or opposition escalation, such as the large-scale arrest of movement leaders or the murder of activists

Nine cities comprising 30% of the national GDP have agreed to disrupt economic activity for TWO WEEKS if he cancels the election.

TUCSON SHUTDOWN
Like many other cities, Tucson will disrupt economic activity as part of the national shutdown. Tucson is represented in the May Day Strong coalition and will have a voice in deciding when to initiate the shutdown. There is a real danger that the big NGOs might hesitate to call for a shutdown even when one is necessary.
The grassroots will decide!
